At the beginning of September, an updated grain drying complex with a Brice-Baker 12/24 grain dryer on alternative fuel started operating on a farm in the Ternopil region.
The farm has a brewery, whose products are exported to America, Spain, Germany and a number of other countries, as well as growing corn for sale and the needs of its own pig farm. That’s why the customer purchased our equipment for drying this type of grain.
Installation of the equipment under the supervision of the chief assembler of plant started in August, further our department of automation and electrification joined: automation of all elevator is carried out on the basis of the software of own development of our plant.
Almost a month after submitting all the necessary documents, the customer also received 25% compensation for the cost of our equipment from the state.
As for the complete set of the dryer, taking into account the observance of high standards (the company positions itself as a family business with an exclusively European approach), the farm has chosen a model with a highly efficient aspiration system.
The dryer has already processed 140 tons of farm corn. At the same time, the test drying was complicated by the high percentage of humidity caused by the current weather anomalies in the region.
However, the dryer did a great job, and the customer is very happy with the result! The main wave of products on the farm is expected in a month, and we are also counting on positive feedback: after all, our Brice-Baker is extremely effective for drying wet and even very wet grain.
