Starokostiantynivskyi is a new oil extraction plant of Kernel, the largest producer and exporter of grains in Ukraine.
KMZ Industries manufactures and installs 44 hopper silos for the Starokostiantynivskyi Oil Extraction Plant. The total capacity of one-time storage in them is 40,546 tons, with a product density of 0.8 t/m³ (the total volume of one-time storage is 50,690 cubic meters).
Hopper silos provide storage of dry grain, meal, granulated products, and granulated husks. Additional supports were installed to increase the height of the silos. All silos will be 1,600 mm higher than the other silos in the grain storage complex. This complicates the task but makes it interesting for the installers.
