Farmers Return to Grain Storage Complex Modernization: First Phase of Silos Installed in Chernihiv Region

A few months before the start of the full-scale war, KMZ Industries signed a contract with a farming enterprise in the Chernihiv region for the supply, installation, and connection of 4 silos with a total storage capacity of 40,000 tons of agricultural products, as well as conveying and gravity equipment.

“In 2024, the client decided to resume the plan for modernizing their grain storage complex. Currently, the KMZ Industries installation unit has completed the construction of the first phase of equipment, namely two silos with a storage capacity of 20,000 tons and conveyors, and is preparing for the handover of the facility. The farming enterprise, as planned, will receive this year’s late crop harvest into the new storage units“, – said Vladyslav Perekhodko, head of KMZ Industries’ regional sales group.

The completion of the second phase of the grain storage complex is also planned for this year: in November-December, our installers will return to the site to construct and connect two more silos along with conveying equipment.
