The share of grain drying plants using alternative fuels is growing in Ukraine

In recent years, the share of enterprises drying grain using alternative fuels has increased in Ukraine.

“Every second request that KMZ Industries receives is for a grain dryer with a heat generator, or for simultaneous connection to both gas and alternative fuels. That’s why we deliberately designed our Brice-Baker grain dryers to work equally well with gas burners and heat generators,” – says Ruslan Demchuk, KMZ Industries’ regional representative in the Cherkasy and Kirovohrad regions.

He explains that connecting the heat flow from the heat generator to the hot zone is quite simple and can be done even after the dryer is already running on gas.

Thus, depending on the future operating conditions, a combined heat supply is possible: from a gas burner or a heat generator.
