KMZ Industries continues to confidently move towards the highest European standards in modernization and automation by acquiring and commissioning a high-tech welding complex based on the YASKAWA MOTOMAN robotic manipulator. This advanced system will ensure uninterrupted and efficient operations at the facility.
Welding processes constitute a significant portion of grain storage equipment manufacturing. However, manual welding has several limitations, including extended execution time, variability in quality, and dependence on the availability of skilled specialists. The robotic welding complex allows for the automation of critical processes and eliminates production bottlenecks.
“The acquisition of this complex enables us not only to expand our product range but also to elevate welding quality to the highest European standards. Such automation significantly boosts productivity, as the new system increases the volume of welding operations by 60% per unit of time. This is a crucial solution given the shortage of qualified welders in the labor market. Expanding our production capabilities will, in turn, contribute to the growth of our product sales both domestically and internationally,” – said Valeriia Kalashnyk, CEO of KMZ Industries.
These production facility upgrades are part of KMZ Industries’ development strategy aimed at implementing innovations and enhancing the company’s competitiveness in the grain storage and processing equipment sector.
