Updated KMZ Industries app: all modern customer requirements are taken into account

In 2019, KMZ Industries created its own elevator equipment automation division, which primarily began developing software for grain dryers. The result was a software product that fully met the needs of the dryer master.

“In addition to algorithms and modes, the program independently determines the state of the grain in each section, and even when there are power outages, the operator knows what to do after the power is restored. The program takes into account the temperature in the drying zones, humidity, and shutdown time. This makes it possible to minimize quality losses after the resumption of work by unloading only dry grain and continuing to dry wet grain.

The program was developed on the basis of a web interface, which means that the owner or manager of the elevator can connect to it from anywhere with Internet access and see what is happening at the elevator: what technological processes are underway, what the temperature is in the silos, whether the grain is drying, etc.

In addition to these standard functions, there is a Telegram bot that transmits text information and a screen shot of the drying master,” Mykola Cheshikhin, Head of Elevator Equipment Automation at KMZ Industries, told The Ukrainian Farmer.

In addition, he said, the function of economic reports is being introduced. They help to assess the quality of the drying foreman’s work and the efficiency of the grain dryer. They take into account fuel and electricity consumption, productivity, and quantitative indicators of moisture removal.

For the new season, KMZ Industries is preparing an updated application that will take into account all modern customer requirements.

“The next stage is the introduction of neural data collection and neural control of the drying process. We are already working on them. So, in a year, we plan to release the next update of the Brice-Baker grain dryer control system, which will provide even more effective assistance to the drying master,” Mykola Cheshikhin announced.
