New Order Received for Equipment for a New Feed Mill

KMZ Industries has signed a contract for the supply of grain storage complex equipment with a company engaged in pig farming in the Lviv region, which has decided to build its own feed mill.

To provide sufficient storage capacity for various types of raw materials and ensure their further processing into formulated compound feed, the project includes the installation of two hopper-bottom silos with a total capacity of 1,020 tons for barley and wheat, one 143-ton silo for corn, and two 41-ton silos for soybean and sunflower meal.

“Products from all silos will be supplied in specific proportions to the feed line in accordance with the required formulas for the production of feed for pigs, poultry, and other animals. The capacity of the first production line will be 2 tons per hour. In the future, it is planned to increase this to 10 tons per hour to produce feed not only for the company’s own pig complex but also for sale on the domestic market,” – says Anton Honcharuk, Regional Representative of KMZ Industries.

To handle the conveying of agricultural products, the solution includes a bucket elevator and three chain conveyors with a capacity of 50 tons per hour, as well as five screw conveyors to feed raw materials directly to the feed production workshop.
