KMZ Industries has completed the installation of an additional malt storage silo at a beverage plant in the Cherkasy region.

The storage capacity of the silo, which was installed in 2024, is 91 cubic meters.

“A special feature of the silo supplied and installed by our specialists at this plant is a radar sensor to measure the exact amount of product in the silo. Normally, we install rotating sensors that show the level of the grain mass and can only roughly calculate the amount of product in the tank. In this case, the customer wanted a device that could measure the amount of malt in the silo with 99.9% accuracy,” – said Ruslan Demchuk, regional representative of KMZ Industries.

KMZ Industries’ cooperation with this customer began in 2015, when the company delivered three silos with a total volume of 954 cubic meters and chain conveyors with a capacity of 35 tons per hour.

This time, in addition to an additional silo, the company ordered malt transport equipment, namely screw conveyors with a capacity of 20 tons per hour, which have already been delivered to the customer.

Electrical and mechanical installation work is currently underway at the plant, which is being carried out by specialists from KMZ Industries.
