Installation of KMZ Industries equipment for grain storage and processing continues in Cherkasy region

Specialists of KMZ Industries have installed two grain storage silos with a capacity of 10 thousand tons each for a farm in Cherkasy region and are currently installing a grain dryer and hoppers.

The productivity of the Brice-Baker SCN-16/48 grain dryer is estimated at 112 t/h for wheat with a moisture reduction from 20% to 15% in one pass, and 43 t/h for corn with a moisture reduction from 24% to 14%.

In addition, two operational cone-bottom silos, each with a capacity of 500 metric tons, are being installed in parallel.

“The equipment is being installed on schedule. After the steel structures are erected, we will start installing the conveying equipment, namely 5 bucket elevators (100 and 175 t/h) with a total length of 195 m and 20 conveyors (100 and 150 t/h) with a total length of 412.5 m“, – said Vyacheslav Stepanchuk, Director of Installation and Construction at KMZ Industries.
