The restoration of a grain storage complex damaged as a result of hostilities should begin with the most thorough fixing of all damage. Vyacheslav Stepanchuk, Director of Installation and Construction of KMZ Industries, spoke about this when answering questions from the specialized publication GrowHow.in.ua.
The expert noted that the website of the Ministry of Economy has a draft methodology for determining damage and the amount of damage.
After that, it is important to write appropriate applications, conduct a survey, determine the condition of the suitability of buildings and structures for further operation. And only then can recovery actions begin.
A suitable option in this case is the joint work in a team of experts, together with the technical specialists of the manufacturer and the installers.
In a conversation with journalists of the publication, Vyacheslav Stepanchuk also said that KMZ Industries already has a positive experience in restoring grain storage complexes damaged by enemy rocket attacks. The company’s specialists have already restored 4 silos at one of the granaries in Ukraine – this was done in 4 months.
Currently, the plant’s team is working on the restoration of 4 more silos in the southern part of Ukraine.
