KMZ Industries has completed a large-scale repair of a grain storage complex for a customer

Recently, the installation team of KMZ Industries carried out and successfully completed a large-scale repair of the grain storage conplex.

20 installation specialists of the plant and one of the most experienced installation supervisors, who controlled and corrected the process, worked at the facility at the same time.

In total, it took 4 months to restore 4 silos with dismantling, manufacturing of new parts, painting and installation.

Of course, like any task, this one involved a number of non-standard solutions and unforeseen situations, which our colleagues successfully coped with.

But no matter how difficult the repair of the granary is, it is always within the power of our professional experienced installation specialists, and most importantly, it is beneficial to the owner of the grain storage complex.

“For example, a new silo with a capacity of 5,500 tons, a diameter of 18.3 m, with delivery and installation, will cost the customer about UAH 12 million. But dismantling the old silo, ordering spare parts and performing installation will cost about UAH 4–6 million. So, if there is a need and possibility of repair, cost savings of 50%–60% is a weighty argument for the customer,” – said Ruslan Demchuk, regional manager of KMZ Industries.
