New capacity of «Chestnoye grain receiving enterprise» by the Alebor Group: the second phase of construction has been completed

This is not the first experience of cooperation Alebor Group with our company. The equipment of the KMZ Industries has been successfully working for two years at two other elevators of the group, Khristinovsky and Voronovitsky grain receiving enterprise.

Tasks that KMZ successfully implemented in 2018:

– Installation of 3 flat-bottom bins with a capacity of 5 thousand tons each for wheat.

– One hopper silos with a capacity of 1,5 thousand tons.

– Increasing the capacity of the previously installed grain dryer to 156 t/h.

– To modernize the automated process control system of the grain dryer, taking into account the increased productivity.

Project Features

During the implementation of the project, the customer needed to increase the capacity of the installed grain dryer.

«KMZ Industries specialists have proposed a solution that is incorporated in the design of our grain dryer: it has been expanded with an additional drying section,” – notes Alexander Nebesky, KMZ Industries regional representative and manager of this project. – It is precisely this opportunity that made it possible to increase the power of the Brice–Baker-16/72 grain dryer from 112 to 156 t/h. After modernization, the equipment can be dried per day at the removal of 4-5 ton-percent of 2 500 tons of grain. Last season, at «Chestnoye grain receiving enterprise» they dried only 1,500 tons per day.
Together with the supplier of the burners TECFLAM, we added another gas burner to the new drying section. Now the equipment works with two burners: one serves two sections, the second – one new. The gas consumption of the dryer is 1.1–1.6 m³ when removing 1 ton-percent, depending on the weather and calorie of gas”

The development of non-stop

As planned, the second phase of construction was completed at the end of the summer. Now the capacity of the elevator for simultaneous storage is 39 thousand tons.

They are not going to stop here, they plan to expand storage capacities and continue cooperation with KMZ Industries. The total capacity of the elevator after the end of the planned stages will be 60 thousand tons.
