KMZ Industries expects sales growth of 60% by the end of 2020. The CEO of KMZ Industries Valeria Kalashnik informed the «Interfax-Ukraine» News Аgency about this.
Valeria Kalashnik said that the main reason for the lack of a drop in demand was the high level of deficit of grain storage complex capacities among agricultural companies, the continuing high profitability of investments in the storage and processing of grain.
The СЕО noted that some customers were also affected by the instability of the hryvnia exchange rate and negative forecasts for it – they came to KMZ Industries in order to invest existing funds in production assets.
Valeria Kalashnik recalled that, despite the quarantine, the plant managed to avoid delays in the supply chain of imported components – long-term relationships with suppliers and a general commitment to fulfill all deliveries on time helped.
Since the beginning of the year, the factory has begun work on 42 projects, today 33 are in operation, the other orders have already been commissioned. This is not taking into account the large-scale project launched last year with Kernel Group (supply of 56 reinforced hopper silos for the four oil extraction plants of group). In addition, 36 automation projects are being implemented for 24 customers.
“In terms of export, this year we are working with Moldova, Belarus, we are also actively cooperating with Romania – only recently we have supplied equipment for four different objects in this country”, – Valeria Kalashnik described international cooperation.
She also noted that the signing of contracts for the supply of products until the end of this year continues.
“In addition, the installation of our equipment has become a significant additional source of income this year – the growth in this service exceeded 100%”, – Kalashnik added.
