A course towards energy efficiency: new conveyors and bucket elevators by KMZ Industries have found their first customers

KMZ Industries specialists have developed and tested new lines of chain conveyors and bucket elevators with a capacity of 100 and 175 tonnes per hour, which went on sale in 2023 and found their first customers.

When designing the new equipment, special attention was paid to reducing energy costs and increasing efficiency when working with grain.

The developers managed to select the optimal components and characteristics of gear motors for the most efficient transportation of various crops. For this purpose, extensive tests were carried out on corn, wheat and sunflower.

Thus, to reduce energy consumption for grain transportation, modern technological chains were used, which made it possible to reduce the size of conveyors and the power of drives.

At the same time, to reduce the risk of grain injuries during transportation, we have designed an updated design of the bucket elevator head.
