The installation of silos with a side discharge system was successfully completed at Kovelske. At the moment, KMZ Industries is the only Ukrainian manufacturer of grain storage equipment that has implemented such an option for its customers.
The side unloading system, with which the silos at this facility are equipped, is popular among grain storage operators in many countries, particularly farmers in Eastern Europe. Here, alongside European requirements for the quality of equipment, all possibilities for optimization and cost savings are finely honed.
Two flat bottom silos BBK 16.18.V12 with a diameter of 16 m and a total storage capacity of 4,592 m³ each are installed at the complex. The silos were installed on a foundation that was originally built for foreign-made silos.
